Kevin O’Brien:

In 2002 Kevin founded Broadcast AdVentures, Inc. and created its signature PartnersProgram®. Today, PartnersProgram® helps business owners and operators become better advertisers and more successful marketers, while also generating new and long-term revenue streams and providing training and development for managers and sellers in traditional, digital and social media.
A highly-regarded speaker and teacher, Kevin and his teams have served hundreds of media outlets and are responsible for generating more than $150 million in revenue. They have conducted more than 4,000 marketing workshops and training sessions for business owners, managers and media professionals in more than 130 cities in the United States and Canada.
Kevin is a Cum Laude graduate of California State University, Long Beach, with a degree in Radio-TV and Film and an emphasis in Business. He completed the National Association of Broadcaster’s Executive Development program at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and the Media Buying Academy’s certification program to better serve clients.
Kevin began his diverse career as a radio sportscaster, including four years broadcasting basketball for University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and earning the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters award as Sportscaster of the Year for the state. Curiosity and interest led to positions as Program Director, Account Executive, Sales Manager, Director of Sales, and General Manager, before he branched out into general business management, teaching and consulting.
Tom Pierce:
…liked PartnersProgram® so much, he joined the company! Tom was a PartnersProgram® client while serving as Director of Sales for a group of radio stations in North Carolina. The program, and the benefits and billing it creates, resonated with Tom’s belief in effective and ethical selling so much that after leaving the stations in 2007 he joined us! Tom now puts his experience from “both sides of the desk” to work facilitating the increased demand for PartnersProgram® across the country. And there’s his 30 years of broadcast and management experience, too…
Tom began his career in broadcasting in Indianapolis after graduating from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a degree in Business. He started as a Sales Research Director before rising to Promotion Assistant, Account Executive, Local Sales Manager, National Sales Manager, General Sales Manager and Director of Sales. Tom played a key role in RadiOhio’s start up of the Ohio News Network and helped secure national radio broadcast rights to several major Bowl games as well as the broadcast distribution rights for the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals.
Later, Tom led stations as Market Manager and, as founder and president of Frontier Marketing & Management, was a station owner.
Tom has consulted media groups and businesses for more than ten years in the areas of broadcast sales and sales training, revenue development programs, sports marketing, station acquisition, station audits, and team building.
Kelly Paras:
…joined the Broadcast AdVentures team in 2008 after graduating from the University of Oregon with a degree in Advertising from the School of Journalism.
She has over a decade of marketing and communications experience with an emphasis on website content and digital property management. Her career includes work for non-profits, embassies, cultural institutions, and historic homes and museums.
Kelly currently serves as the Social Media Manager for the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the nation’s premier organization working to save historic places and help tell the full America story. In her spare time she is also a freelance photographer.
As Operations Manager, Kelly applies her organizational expertise to run the back end of the business from our Nation’s Capitol.
